This ring features an unusual antique stone. GIA certified 3.06-carat antique elongated cushion cut diamond, E color, and SI2 clarity. The stone is presented in our handmade 'travel mount' setting in our 18k old gold.
Our 'Travel Mount' is a simple setting we created when we needed to quickly mount an important antique stone to be exported for an exhibition in London. It has become one of our signature designs. It appeals to a client who desires a minimal setting, highlighting a unique center stone. The ten prongs are hand-filed to delicate points, with the center stone set on a simple, rounded band.
Size 6.25, can be resized.
Handmade in our Texas workshop, this ring is in our custom 18K rose gold blend. A more subdued, darker tone than commercially available rose gold. We call this color "old gold" and created the alloy in the spirit of the many 19th-century rings we have handled.
